Michelle Obama attended Princeton University and Harvard Law School before entering the renowned Chicago law firm Sidley & Austin. Before becoming the Executive Director of the youth mentoring organization Public Allies, she served in the mayor's office of Chicago's City Hall. She then went on to work for the University of Chicago Medical Center as the Executive Director of Community Affairs. She has published several books and been an advocate for children's welfare and problems affecting military families since becoming First Lady of the United States.
