Bad Feminist (2014) is a compilation of personal essays that explore race, gender and feminism in the United States. Roxane Gay is a contributor at the New York Times. She taught at Purdue University and founded the Tiny Hardcore Press publishing company. She has published a book, An Untamed State and the memoir, Hunger.
